Welcome to ilaka, a home away from home!

Situated on the main Bir-Billing road, ilaka Homes is surrounded by lush green vegetation with the Mount Billing view i.e. paragliding take off point (World’s second highest) in the Dhauladhar mountain range of Himalayas. Aside from the promise of fun-filled activities and adventurous excursion, this place also rewards you with a sense of calmness and refreshment. It’s simply an escape from the mundane city life.

ilaka means an "area or place.” We like to provide an immersive traveling experience to our guests by providing genuine information about the area. There are different activities or sightseeing attractions in this ilaka like paragliding, hiking, yoga, meditation or Buddhism culture. Every room’s decor is based on a single attraction of this area or ilaka. Be it the Himachal architecture on the exterior to the interior decor of the rooms.

Our home is built using Himachali handcrafted stone that captures our heritage and enhances the staying experience. The space has a lawn area, living area, rooftop cafe, a bonfire area and an in-house kitchen for the guests who prefer to cook their own meals. There are 5 theme-based bedrooms on the property with 2 deluxe rooms comprising a lounge area, 1 room with an attached balcony, and 2 standard rooms. The handcrafted stone and wooden work are prominent in all the rooms that give a homely touch.

The rooftop café with beautiful aesthetics is open and makes you lose track of time by counting the gliders taking off and approaching the landing site. You can hear the birds chirping and enjoy a relaxing sunset followed by an evening below a sea of stars. It’s a perfect place to explore your spiritual side and engage in meditation.
